Public Safety Alert

Public Safety Alert

53 Division of Toronto Police report that they are pleased with community response to the LPRA newsletter issued on Tuesday.  They continue to appeal for any information that might help them identify the young man who attacked a 19 year old  female on Weybourne.

Constable Tim Somers stresses that they are still looking for more surveillance camera footage that might confirm that the attacker is the same individual mentioned in connection with two other incidents in the neighbourhood.  A firm link on the identity remains to be established so please look at the description of the suspect and stay alert.

Meanwhile an order has been placed for the Neighbourhood Watch lawn signs and we will inform you how to obtain one when they are available.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Jimenez at 416 808 5306 or 416-222-TIPS (anonymous line). Constable Somers can be contacted at B90023@torontopolice.on.ca.

A police composite sketch of the suspect is available. Please go to http://lpra.ca/portfolio-view/public-safety-alert/ to see this sketch.

We request that residents in the area check their security video (if installed) between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm on October 21, 2017, that may have captured images of the suspect.
